One of my favorite Dead lines comes from Built To Last.
"Don't waste your breath to save your face when you have done your best"

I like the one from this Berkeley show...

Understated presentation and the rest of the show ain't bad either.

Hey Dogs, how is that Victim>Bird song? Caught my attention and may have to check that out as well

The Victim > Bird Song works. Neither version is very long but they link together rather well. Soemthing about Bird Song seemed to soften Victim's angst. Redemption?
Also, stick around for The Promised Land closer. It's worth it.
The double encore is pretty cool too. They actually left the stage after Black Muddy River and just as the house lights were coming up they cam back out for We Bid You Goodnight. Special night at the Greek!

I wish the Dead kept it in circulation . It is a song, in which, I like the "verse" part better than the "chorus" part . The melody of the verse is classic Garcia, where the chorus is a bit clunky , to my ears . Clearly Jerry ( or the band ) was not totally pleased with it .
